DINAARI'S BACK

Happy Juneteenth, and happy Pride! After a lengthy hiatus since Good Leg Music II, I've returned to show off a project that has been in development since I started making NES music in 2015.

The Last Number is a story about a desperate escape from dystopian Texas set in the year 2127. During a tumultuous time in our own modern history, this project has been a dumping ground for some of my darkest feelings. Thus, it is very different from the work I've done before- taking a more narrative and unorthodox structure. As I transition into becoming a game composer, I've exposed myself to many different styles of music and hope that it's reflected in the range of sounds you'll hear in The Last Number.

Essentially, these are "Experiments in Chiptune", composed and recorded between 2015-2023. Recorded with several versions of Famitracker (Tracker program and NES Audio Chip emulation) and Audacity. It utilizes the Ricoh 2A03 and Konami VRC-6 sound chips with some post processing.

Please, share this album with all chiptune and synth music lovers! Times are very difficult and I'm counting on all of your support this time around. Progressive southerners know too well the struggle of trying to survive in a region that is forcing us out. While I prepare for what comes next, any support you can give is much appreciated.
